I drive a Ford Expedition that is old and big and has lots of miles on it. Everything in the vehicle works except the factory television/DVD player and the back glass does not open on the back gate. I'm impressed since the vehicle has over 250,000 miles on it! I like that it has stood the test of time and kids and is still going!
Story
People think that I am a police officer because the police drive black Expeditions around here.
Pros
I like that the vehicle seems to have been built to last. I have had no issues until recently and don't believe even the issues that I have are all that big. I mean, the air even works after 18 years! I like how it has the third-row seating as well so that I can have a load of folks or just me and the kids. It is just big enough that we all fit in there and still have room for all our junk if we need to tote it along. I think if we were to take it on a long-distance vacation we would all be happy in it.
Cons
The only negative thing I have to say about my truck is that the factory video player does not work. This part of the truck quit long ago and it sure does suck, because my kids realize its there occasionally and beg to watch TV. The only other thing I just thought of is sometimes it is hard to park it because it is so big!

I have owned this car for over 15 years. It is huge. I never want to get rid of this car. This car has been through everything and still running strong.
Story
A memorable time I enjoyed in my vehicle was taking a group of my girlfriends in this car to go to an Allman Brothers concert in Atlanta, GA.
Pros
This car is very safe to drive. I feel confident driving this car as I can see out of all windows and everything around me when I am driving. This car is very spacious, and I am able to haul everything I need. It can fit eight people easily. I love taking road trips in this car for the comfort it provides the driver as well as any passengers. I have over 200,000 miles on this car, and it is still running strong.
Cons
The cons are obvious. Being that this is a full-sized sport utility vehicle, the gas can be expensive to maintain. I do not drive it enough for this to be a large factor in my life. But I can imagine that other people driving this vehicle would find it difficult to justify this expense when deciding to purchase this car. The other con would be the temperature knob on the dashboard broke very early on in my ownership. I now have to use a needle-nose plyer to turn the knob from cold to warm and from warm to cold when the season change.

I like the size and space in the vehicle. The folding third row seating is incredibly useful. There are some things that bother me about my specific vehicle. There is a vibration in the suspension when I brake. I have had this looked at and they thought it was the tires. I have replaced the tires and it still has the vibration. Also, the tires tread wears in a very odd way even though the machine said that it was in alignment.
Story
We packed up the entire family and took a trip to the Riverbanks Zoo. It was so nice to be able to fit everyone in one vehicle and not have to do a "caravan".
Pros
The electronic lift gate, electronic folding rear seats, comfort and size of driver and passenger seating, rear camera and backup sensors were the selling points for me.
Cons
Fuel economy while good for a vehicle of this size could be better.

The buying process was fairly quick and easy. My boyfriend and I found the car we wanted online and went to the dealer. They were able to approve me for 0% financing within minutes (It helps I have purchased 3 cars from Ford over the last 20 years). The salesman was nice, the manager was helpful. Everything went smoothly.
