2005 Ford Expedition - The build of the vehicle is to my satisfaction. There are a few flaws but the vehicle has over 200,000 miles on it. I love how roomy my expedition is and how it has held up. I have not experienced any issues with the electrical components.

I love my Ford Expedition, it has really met my expectations. It has 3rd row seating and I am able to easily fold the back seat down with a push of a button. It does have the known knocking sound in the motor, but it has over 200,000 miles on it. The interior is leather, with heated front row seats. I think that the tan leather would look better another color, like black or gray. I also like the motorized sunroof as I am able to enjoy the freshness of the air when I take a drive and roll all the windows down and open up the vented windows in the back. I did have issues with the breaking system and had to replace the whole brake line. One thing that I did not like, is I had no prior notifications that I had any kind of issues with my brakes. I had lost my key fob, so in order to unlock... (more)
Story
I celebrated my son's birthday at a local park (Memorial Park) and it started raining. We all piled up in my Expedition and we still had all the room we needed until the rain stopped.
Pros
Heated seats, push button sunroof, tinted windows, leather seats, 3rd row seating.
Cons
Knock in motor. No notification when break line busted. To unlock passenger door, with no key fob, I have to go to driver side.

This has been a reliable used vehicle for us for years. We purchased it used five years ago with 150,000 miles on it. It now has over 250,000 miles on it, and it is still the most reliable vehicle we have owned.
Story
This vehicle travels well with a family of five. We traveled through six states, up and down mountainous areas and even to the beach. It handled the mountains without struggle, and the entire family was comfortable throughout the trip. We could even name in the back if we laid the seats back.
Pros
It is extra roomy with a total of eight seats including the third-row seating which can be removed. The storage is huge too. We can load it with furniture, bikes, and travel bags and still have room for groceries. It is also very solid. I like the heavy steal and secure feeling while traveling down the road. It has power seats, power windows, air/heat, and a CD player. It has amazing horsepower and get up and go power. The seats are soft and comfortable and easy to clean.
Cons
The suspension is old and rickety. Every time we fix one thing suspension wise, something else breaks. It also rusts easily. The baseboards, doors, and roof have rust. The gas mileage is quite low. It gets about 13-15 miles per gallon, but this was worth it to us to have plenty of passenger and hauling space.

After arriving to the dealership I was given time to myself to look. Not being jumped on right away like I had at other dealerships was nice. I found a truck I liked, but I had questions. The salesperson got all of the information that I requested and made me feel like I was the most important person there without acting like they were sucking up.
