My Ford Explorer has held up well over the years. It is a four wheel drive and it handles very well in all types of weather. I live where we get a lot of snow and ice and the Explorer has been excellent for driving in winter road conditions. It is high off of the ground so it can even glide through a few feet of snow with no problem.
Story
My family has a had a lot of fun taking our Explorer on vacations. We can stuff all of our luggage, coolers, food, and bedding in the back of the Explorer. The seats are comfortable for long drives. The kids think it's fun because they can see into the smaller cars below us on the road.
Pros
My favorite features of the Ford Explorer are the large size, the feeling of safety, and the interior. It has comfortable seating in the front and the back. It has a third row seat that folds down for convenience. It has a large cargo space in the rear which has tons of space for groceries and large items.
Cons
It is prone to rust over the wheel well area and doesn't have much leg room in the back seat.

Overall, this is a great vehicle. The only vehicle before this that I had driven with any consistency was a small 2 door car, so this was a big change for me. One of the best things about this vehicle is the interior space not only for me, the driver, but for passengers stuck in the backseat. The bed of the truck is also spacious enough.
Story
I took this vehicle on a cross country when I moved out of state to a summer time job. The vehicle handled perfectly on the interstates and I was never sore during the long 13 hour day drives.
Pros
The 4 wheel drive is a needed feature for a truck, so winter driving with this vehicle is great. The available features, such as the double locking cover on the back, cover the bed and can make long distance driving simple.
Cons
The biggest thing about this vehicle would be gas mileage, which is horrendous at best. I can nurse about 22 MPG on state roads at times, but on interstates drops it down to about 17 MPG.

Fair price and great service. Didn't feel "handled" or condescended to, would buy from here again.
