I like how it is good for long trips, but I do not like how things keep on breaking on it. The air conditioner does not work anymore, the engine makes weird noises, and there is a strong exhaust odor. I was overcharged for the vehicle, but it was all I could get before I moved out of state. The windshield is broken, and the brake light never turns off. Though the car doesn't overheat, the coolant gets used up pretty fast. There is no leak in the coolant. Even with all of the issues, it is still good for getting me to where I need to go. If it was in better condition, I would enjoy the car much more. The radio and speakers work well, although a speaker in the very back randomly works and stops working. There is a lot of room in the vehicle, and I feel as though it is safe for my family,... (more)
Story
My boyfriend drove me to the hospital in that car because I was in labour.
Pros
The radio and speakers work, and it has plenty of room. I also feel that the vehicle is safe for my three month old infant. Plus, it did its job in making it from Arkansas to Ohio.
Cons
The tires had to be replaced immediately, and there are cracks on the windshield, one of which is pretty long, but luckily does not obstruct my view. It is also a little hard for me to reach the gas pedal, even with the seat all the way forward.

2003 Ford Explorer - Great for historical Re-enactors with lots of gear!

With a growing family, I knew we needed a larger, reliable vehicle. As historical re-enactors, we also needed something that would haul all of our gear on weekend trips without cramping us. The Ford Explorer we bought has tons of room for my kids and their friends AND for our weekend events. Last weekend, I hauled enough camping gear for four adults plus a suit of armor, a whole slew of weapons, a Viking rope bed and 3 days worth of supplies. The best part was that we didn't feel crammed into the vehicle like sardines! For an SUV, it gets great gas mileage, even better than advertised. The 4 wheel drive was a life saver in a snow storm this winter. Even though the mileage is kind of high, we haven't had to replace any major parts. I have had a few newer cars than this one but they were... (more)
Pros
Lots of space CD Player Roof Rack Good gas mileage 3rd row seating folds down Easy and fun to drive
Cons
No AC Back hatch cracks (mechanic told me it was common, cost me $100 to replace. Very cheap.) Expensive tires ($120 each)

The dealership let us shop in peace - they did not "stalk" us while looking at the cars on the lot and did not hassle us. They provided us the keys of the cars we wished to look at without any issues. They were fair on the price and did an excellent job of explaining everything to us.

They had a nice selection of cars that were extremely tuned and cleaned up. The vehicles I looked at all looked as though they could have been just purchased, even though the one I ended up getting was a 2010, it was literally spotless, even under the hood. The sales staff were all nice and personable as well, and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need.
