My Ford Focus ups and downs
My Ford Focus came to us because of a car accident I had just days prior. When we went to the dealership we looked at a number of cars but landed on the Ford Focus because of the sliver color, miles, blue tooth capabilities and turn by turn directions. We love the heated seats in the care they are wonderful during the winters but I could do with out the leather seats. During the summer the leather seats stick to my skin and the winter they are ice cold till the seat warmer kinks in. After a week with the car the was some problems with the power steering going out that required the dealership to fix it. Six months later their was a recall on the drive shaft so these are concerns that other things will fail on the car. I also found out AFTER we bought the car that the turn by turn navigation requires a monthly subscription and the blue tooth only works for call if you do not have a windows phone.

I love my Ford Explorer!
We bought our Explorer with 117,000 miles on it now has 190,000 on it. We have done repairs to the frame and under carriage. Such as: the wheel bearings, new shocks and struts, did work to the idler arm. After fixing those things the vehicle has done well and the ride is smooth. We did have to replace the alternator not long after buying the vehicle but it has run very well in the five years since. We also had to put a new fuel pump in it, but it runs well now. It has third row seating which is great for our family, but the trunk space is not very big. Because it has almost 200,000 miles there are problems that it is not cost effective to fix. It still continues to run and be reliable with a lot of miles. My husband and I are into DIY woodworking and pallet crafts and have hooked a trailer to this workhorse and hauled numerous loads that were between 500 and 1,000 pounds. Oh, and my air conditioner is still working after almost 200,000 miles!
