The 2006 Ford Explorer is a great family car that has a roomy interior and lots of additional storage capacity. The 3rd row seating can be folded up or down to accommodate extra passengers or make room for larger storage. Maintenance has been a breeze and very affordable since this is one of the best selling models of cars ever, so spare parts are plentiful and the car itself is easy to work on. You save on parts and labor time whether you do it yourself or have a shop do the maintenance.

Excellent family car

Love my Ford Explorer! This car is amazing for our family. It comfortably seats seven, and all the seats lay down to give you more trunk space if needed. It is up to date with all electronics and can even have Wi-Fi installed. Also comes with Sirius radio that you can pay a monthly membership for. Engine runs great, have not had any problems with it yet. It is quiet and doesn't' rattle at all. It is a sturdy car that I feel safe driving my family around in.
