This is my second Ford Explorer, my first one being a 1995 "mocha frost" colored model which I bought new and drove until 2013. This 2010 model is almost as nice but does feel a bit more cumbersome and hotter in the summer months. I feel confident about the Ford brand since I had such a good experience with my last one. After driving this now for almost 3 years, I am more comfortable in it.

This was my first SUV, and I always wanted one. I was not disappointed. I took it camping , packed it full to move, hauled one kid off to college across the state. It was one of the best vehicles I ever owned. It being the Eddie Bauer edition was even better. It had digital read out for the temperature and mileage gas and such. At night driving I would open the moon roof and enjoy the stars. My husband hated it, but I loved it. Even I cried the day I had to say goodbye to it when it was time to retire it.
