I have loved owning this vehicle. It has been dependable and very versatile. I originally purchased the vehicle because I moved to the mountains and needed 4x4. The vehicle did very well in this terrain. I never once became stuck in the mud or snow. With the tow package I was even able to rescue friends who had become stuck in snow. I enjoy the classic look of the interior with the wood panel dash. I am often complimented on the vehicles timeless appearance inside and out. Although the vehicle is over ten years old it has aged well. The interior leather has stayed nice along with the exterior paint. The design features help the vehicle to remain current looking despite it's age. We have had little maintenance problems with the vehicle and feel that we have made a good investment. Even after moving to a more urban area I decided to keep the vehicle. It has been well worth it. It gets poor gas mileage but that is mostly because it is a V8. Now that it is older it has a little oil leakage but I don't know any cars that are over ten years old that don't leak. We have greatly enjoyed the sunroof over the years but lately we have noticed some rust building up on the roof of the vehicle around the sunroof. It also has 3rd row seating that has come in very handy during road trips with friends and family and heated seats for cold winter days. I would recommend any of my friends to purchase this year, make, and model.

I have the 2014 Ford Explorer with cloth seats and standard package. I love the quality of the interior and how it does not hold stains, which comes in very handy for a family with children and pets. The third row seat folds down giving ample room for pets, groceries or just about anything you may need to carry. The luggage rack fits a extra large luggage carrier with no problem at all providing very little to no drag on the vehicle. The display for speed is easy to see and read. The vehicle information on the dash is convenient and customizable. The Sirius radio subscription option has been very enjoyable especially for those of us that live in the mountains and have a very hard time accessing radio stations.
