2014 Ford Explorer - It is a nice comfortable well-built vehicle.

I loved my Ford Explorer SUV when I first bought it. The vehicle is a very comfortable ride: with leather heated seats and both heating/air in the front and back. It is a big enough vehicle to travel comfortably with family. It is also a very dependable and reliable vehicle. However as time has gone by, I've become dissatisfied. The payments are a lot higher than I'm happy with. I feel $500 a month is too high. The third-row seating is not convenient at all. In order to use them, the person riding in the back basically has to crawl through the trunk. Lastly, the vehicle is a gas hog. It is very expensive to ride around in town. It does get better gas mileage on the highways, but in town it's very expensive. It costs me about $80 dollars a week in gas.
Story
We had a big snow storm. Most everyone I knew was snowbound because they couldn't get their cars around and through the snow banks. However, my Ford Explorer was like a boat and a tank. I could go through any type of reasonable snow bank. I ended up being the one to get everyone (friends and family) to the store and to work. It's a dependable tank.
Pros
I needed a larger vehicle and my SUV fit the bill. I travel and it is very comfortable with leather cushioned seats and plenty of leg room. I have had no problems with it. Since I've bought it, I have only had to replace the tires. I love the heat/air situated in both the front and back of the vehicle. The vehicle handles great in the snow and ice.
Cons
The monthly payments are very high for me. The third-row seating is awkward. It's really only made for children, since it involves crawling in the trunk area. The weekly gas bill is high for me. It costs me about $80 to drive a week. When I buy another vehicle, I will not buy one that's white. Mine is white and it stays dirty a lot. Every aspect shows on it.

2011 Ford Explorer - Could be better, but love it!

I love the space that I have in the explorer. It seems like just the right space for a family of four. We have plenty of space for us and our things when we go somewhere. I also love the comfort of driving it. I do have a few things that I do not like/have had issues with that I will explain in the cons section.
Story
We enjoy using this car as a family car. It's a perfect size for our family. We drive it anywhere we go.
Pros
It has good space for an average family. It gets decent gas mileage for an SUV. I have DVD players in the headrest, which is awesome for kids. I love that I am able to fold down and put up the seats easily, which I do quite often on the back row. I love the touchscreen and the navigation SD card so that I can use that anytime and not have to use my phone or hand-held GPS. We love the leather seats because of easy cleanup.
Cons
I have had quite a few of random issues with the vehicle on the interior and on electronics. The driver side door interior split at the armrest, because it was practically just glued together and had fake stitches. The airbag light will randomly come and stay on for a little while and then go off for a little while and so on. The space in the middle row is adequate for car seats but can make it a little cramped for driver/passenger when you have two of them in there and needing the space to rear face. The middle row middle seat has a weird plastic piece in the seat that makes it imposs... (more)

Amazing customer service, every employee I spoke too was extremely professional. They showed me tons of options in my budget and did not try to be deceptive like most car salespeople. They treated me fairly and lowered the price of the vehicle I had found when I showed them a competitors price on it. I was very impressed and I will shop there again for my next car.

The people were very helpful. They helped me find the right vehicle at a price I could afford. They were not pushy, and gave me many options to choose from. There was a wide selection of vehicles that fit my desired price, and the payments were very reasonable. The location was close to home. I will be going back to purchase my next car at this location.
