Used Ford Explorer for Sale in Watsonville, CA

With regular maintenance this car keeps on going. This is my second Ford Explorer. The last one went 250,000 miles before the engine quit. I like the suspension because it has a very comfortable ride on the highway and performs well on dirt roads. It gets OK mileage for an SUV (18-19mpg) of its age. The drivetrain is 2WD. Unfortunately, it does not have a limited slip differential so in snowy/icy or off road situations the car is really only 1WD.

Being from a family that pretty much ONLY buys Ford vehicles, I have had several different models throughout the last 35 years. Our Ford Explorer is one of my favorite vehicles I've owned! It is the perfect combination of car and truck in an SUV. It has served our family very well. With almost 150,000 miles, we have traveled on many long distance trips as a family in our Explorer. We have never had any issues. It has been a reliable part of our family. It is a comfortable ride and has great storage space for our luggage, ice chest, and sporting gear. The luggage rack on top is another great option! To be able to put some of the gear, in case we want more space inside the vehicle, like, when our dog travels with us! He is a member of our family and loves to travel with us. When our 21 year daughter got her license, it was the car she drove for 2 years until her sister, 19, got her license! It has been a safe and dependable vehicle for our girls to drive. We plan on it being our 13 year old daughter's car when she gets her license! We all love it!
