I really was excited about getting a new F-150 as I had had several over the years. This truck was not just well designed, it was comfortable and had a great list of features. It was good on gas, could haul all my stuff easily and pull a trailer. All solid, F150 duties. That said, I have repeatedly had engine issues with the truck. Ford has tried several fixes, sent and installed a good section of the engine, but still I am having issues.

You may have seen on TV the F150 is the most dependable truck. I can tell you, as an actual owner, that is correct. I have had only minor issues with my truck. The repairs were not that costly. I have owned it for 3 years and spent less than 2,000 on repairs. Most is general maintaince.
