2009 Ford F-150 - The Ford F-150 is a so-so truck.
I have a 2009 Ford F-150. The one main reason I like the truck was that is was a base line model. It didn't have power windows and things like that. It was basic, which means to me that less can break. As the truck got older things unfortunately started to go wrong. In the end, I ended up replacing the motor due to water some how managed to get in the original motor and that caused it too fail.
Story
The truck was my very first and only vehicle that was brand new. It was such a nice ride on my way home from the dealership. I never thought I would be that lucky to have a new truck like that.
Pros
The truck was four wheel drive, so it handled great in the winter. It was a standard cab, so the utility box was a full size 8ft box, so I could haul quite a bit with it when needed.
Cons
One of the top negative aspects of the truck is the design of the transfer case shifter. When shifting in and out of four wheel drive, the cable underneath the truck would pop off and I would be able to shift in and out of four wheel drive anymore. I would have to get out of the truck and crawl underneath to reattach the cable by hand. It was bad when this would happen in the winter. You just never know when it would pop off, so I would just periodically crawl underneath the truck just to ensure it was on securely.
2016 Ford F-150 - F150s rule
First of all, the F150 is the god of trucks! There isn't a truck on this planet that I would choose over my F150. From the luxury feel to the strength/power, I love it all! Driving in snow feels like a summer day. All-wheel drive is a man's best friend. I would recommend any truck lover to convert to Ford's F150!

When I pulled up to my parents house in my new truck, everyone thought I hit the lottery!
Pros
Power - you can literally do anything in the F150...except fly. Not yet! Maybe in 2025. Style - Most people believe when showing luxury, you sacrifice the power...not true! Reliable - the F150 has never let me down while starting up, driving in harsh conditions or making sure that I have respect on the road!
