I love the utility and comfort of the vehicle. The interior is as plush as a luxury car, but it also is great at hauling. The mileage is terrible.
Story
Was able to haul a full bed of camping gear and a full 6x12 trailer full of six motorcycles with gear to a camp out in the desert.
Pros
Inside and out, the truck looks very classy. It has great power and towing ability. Tons of creature comforts and bells and whistles.
Cons
Poor gas mileage, light back end (gets squirrely when not loaded down), easy to dent truck bed, and lots of bells and whistles electronically with chance to go bad.

2004 Ford F-150 - Usually dependable, though it tends to have problems in cold weather.

Although it does not have the power of larger trucks, you tend to feel like you're in control when you're driving this vehicle. Its steering wheel reacts quickly to your movements, but it doesn't have the greatest turning radius. In fact, it has a worse turn radius than any vehicle I have ever driven. This truck is generally quite reliable, and easy to get attached to. My main problem with it is its odd tendency to hesitate--or fail to start--in cold weather. Three years in a row, around winter time, I had serious issues with this truck. I took it into the shop multiple times, and no one could identify the problem. On days that it started, it could drive all day. But on other days, if I attempted to start it and it failed, I would not be able to start it all day. This scarcely... (more)
Story
I was a scorekeeper for flag football. One night, after the games were over, I was tasked with cleaning up the field and shutting off all the lights. I had a cold, and I was very tired, so when I pulled forward in my truck at the end of the long night, it slipped my mind that the small, cement scorekeeper's block was near my truck. I heard a loud "SCRAPE!" and I started to freak out. There... (more)
Pros
The truck is spacious enough so that you don't feel like your movements are restricted. It has just enough power to give you a sense of control and security on the road. Some might call the appearance of the truck "simple," but I always thought it looked great--especially if you keep up on washing it. While neither small nor excessively large, the vehicle has a fair amount of maneuverability (except for the abysmal turn radius).
Cons
The truck's turn radius is one of the worst I have ever seen, which is surprising, considering that something like the Chevy Tahoe is just as large and can turn with no problem. The fact that this vehicle has had numerous issues with cold weather has been a huge annoyance. One winter, the belt started squeaking; the next winter, the truck would randomly refuse to start; the following winter, it refused to start even more frequently. It lacks the power that you feel in something like a Chevy Silverado, though not by much.

No one gets a good deal from a car salesman. Even when I sold cars to friends at what I thought were rock-bottom prices, there was still profit for the dealership built in. Being friendly is a sales technique. Period. It lowers barriers and fosters acceptance. If you believe the salesman is your friend, you're more likely to believe that he has your best interests at heart. Newsflash: he doesn't.
