2010 Ford Fusion - good car.
I love this car. I recently read that it is classified as a "entry level" lux model. I suppose it said that because it has leather interior with all the bells and whistles (knob and gadgets) that might come with a pretty car. Not only that, it has a very charming sun/moon roof. What really charms me is that I purchased it 2 years used and the body and engine is truly stable and like new. The really good thing about this car is that it can and do ride a 90 lb. dog in navigator comfort.
Story
Being a grandmother, I was tickled when approached by some young people driving on the side of me wishing to "open her up". They were driving fancy challengers and the like. I didn't but now all they say is "nice ride mam".
Pros
The beauty, style and color is what was important, along with comfort. The highlight is that is can "get up" when need be.
Cons
The negative is that it has an expensive paint job and fancy big tires.
2014 Ford Fusion - Fun, functional, family, Ford Fusion
I really enjoy driving my car, it is very quiet and it is responsive. It has the look of a luxury car but built with a budget in mind. Only thing I am not a fan of is the sound system, I would expect that a car that rides as quiet as this one does, would have a radio system worthy of the space.
Story
I live in a relatively rural area where not all of the roads are paved (including my driveway) and the suspension on this car takes on most surfaces without any trouble at all.
Pros
I absolutely love the large display and Microsoft sync system with fully integrated phone/navigation/comfort/entertainment within arms reach. The 2.0L Eco boost engine is so nice when you want to move around in traffic, I never have to wonder if my car will move quickly when I need it to.
Cons
The cons for this vehicle are poorly designed floor mats and the flimsy trim on the doors, as I have had two of the four inserts replaced within the first 6 months of owning this car.
