Overall the Mustang is a fun car, as one would expect. While I just have the standard version and not the V8, it still has a bit of kick to it and I've never had an issue with acceleration. I've spent quite a bit of time in my car, whether driving to and from college or taking a nap on my lunch break. I find it comfortable, though others have complained about the cramped space. You certainly won't be driving more than one other person - I refer to the back seat as my "shelf." As for any mechanical issues, mine does have an odd quirk that may be attributed to the transmission. Occasionally, usually in the summer heat, my car will rev but not slip into gear. Also will buck when driving around 35mph. It hasn't happened often enough to diagnose or become a real issue, but it is something to consider. Note that my car does have over 120,000 miles on it.

I like my vehicle very much and for all the time and I found it I've had very little issues with it. I've only had a fuel pump go out and then also some short electrical problems that were promptly fixed. There is also an evap issue but the car almost has 100,000 miles on it and has given me relatively few check engine lights and has never broke down. The biggest downside of this vehicle is that it eats tires I'm already on my fifth set a tires that means roughly every 20,000 miles it needs a new set a tires.
