2007 Ford Mustang - Gotta Love a Mustang
This was the first car I have ever purchased, and I would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you are looking for a fun, sporty vehicle. I have a 2007 Ford Mustang with a V6 engine and I have never experienced a real problem with it. The only setbacks I have ever had to deal with are superficial, like replacing tires, brake pads, wipers, etc. as well as the usual maintenance. It drives wonderfully, and has speed as well as decent gas mileage for a car of its kind.
Story
I was once stopped at a red light with my windows open, and the man in the car next to me started chatting about my car, how he had one similar car years ago and loved it. This car just has something sentimental and classic about it that people are drawn to.
Pros
The look of a classic sports car can't be beat, and the speed and driving performance are great. It is a perfect middle between high-performance sport and sensible coupe for driving around town. Being able to rev such an impressive engine AS WELL as get 21 MPG is hard to come by. And the price is generally reasonable. The interior is cozy and roomy, and everything you need is in reach.
Cons
One aspect of this vehicle I dislike is its lack of technological savvy, which is probably due to the year it was made (right before smart phones and similar technology became popular). There is no input jack or way to connect portable devices, only the radio and CD player. Also the back seats do not fold down, even though there is a division between them as if they are meant to fold down. The only way to open the trunk is with the key or remote button, and no way to unlock it from inside the car.
2011 Ford Mustang - Great introductory sports car
When you think of the Ford Mustang, you think bang-for-your-buck power. With 305 hp in the V6 model, you have one fun ride for a fraction of the costs of other comparable vehicles.
If you have a bit of more cash on you, you might opt for the GT but if you find yourself just commuting in the city, it is better to save a few bucks. The V6 Mustang has an EPA estimated MPG of up to 19 city and 31 highway. Although it is not a hybrid-level MPG, it is very good comparable to the Camaro or the Challenger.
The interior of the car have been revamped from the previous year. I opted for the chrome-styling and the leather seats which were very comfortable. The convertible model is also very fun as Ford have redesigned the hood to be able to lower at a push of a button, even when driving.
