Good Looking Car, "Meh" Quality
It's a great looking car. Even though it's 10 years old I still get compliments on it all the time. The body has held up well... the interior and accessories, not so much. The leather is cracking more than I would have expected. Most of the knobs and buttons have the writing worn off. The stereo is kind of a pain to operate. You have to advance the disc spaces before loading or ejecting a disc and it takes way longer than it should. The top and bottom levers on the backs of both front seats broke when the car was three years old. This makes it difficult for rear passengers to get out of the car without help from the front seat passengers. The tires and brakes seem to wear quicker than any other car I've owned. The lumbar support in the drivers seat broke. It handles well and is fun to drive. I believe the manual transmission helps with the fun. A positive is that the leather has not faded and is as black as it was the day I got it new. I did have a problem with water pouring in the passengers side from underneath the dash. Come to find out it is a common issue based on poor design. It was an easy fix but isn't something you should have to deal with. I don't like having 2" of water on my floor boards.

Breaks down a lot
At first it was a nice vehicle and got us where we needed to go. It has always been small for us, though. About a year after purchase it started having issues and hasn't stopped having issues ever since then. It breaks down a lot now and it is hard to work on because they tried to cram too much into a small space. Not to mention how many parts you need that are Ford specific rather than universal so you end up paying three times what the part is worth because you have to order it through Ford.
