Great smaller truck for those who don't have to haul heavy loads. It is small and light enough to be economical for use in the city and suburbs. Overall I would say 2000 Ford Ranger was a positive experience as an auto owner.
Story
Was driving through Atlanta during "snowmaggedon" and while everyone else was slipping an sliding all over the roads because I had all wheel tires I was fine! It was still terrifying watching cars around me slip and slide all over the roads but I got home safe and never lost control which is the most important thing!
Pros
It has a great interior with plenty of room in the cab to seat two people comfortably and space between the cab and the bed for luggage, groceries or really any item (or dog or other pet) that can't be put in the bed of the truck. The bed of the truck is good for moving from apartment to apartment. For city life and great for moving from home to the dorm room if you are starting off at college. Because it's a Ford you know that it will be reliable for years to come and requires little maintenance on a yearly basis. The air conditioning and transmission worked for nearly 8 years before I ha... (more)
Cons
There are two back seats in the cab but they can only really seat small children as they are tiny, low to the ground and facing each other. The bed of the truck is small and can not handle overly large loads so if you are looking for a power truck this isn't the truck for you.

My ford ranger is a decent little truck. She is old, but she is still fairly reliable. The interior is in good shape and the exterior only has a few dings on it. The truck was actually totaled once, long before I got it, but runs like nothing has ever happened. It has problems that any older vehicle has.
Story
My bf an i went out pokemon going and there is one spot in town thats alwasy got lures. everyone sits on the lawn and plays, a few people actually try to get conversations started. He and i were laying in the truck bed, completely in our own little world, surrounded by 30 people.
Pros
Trucks are always a useful thing to have. I have moved quite a bit and wish I had it all those times. It's a sturdy truck. Nice small tires that are plenty good enough to drive on but don't cost an arm and a leg. Common truck so it's easy to find parts for it.
Cons
It's old. That has nothing to do with the make or model... it's just a fact. It's an old truck and quite a few things have had to be replaced, especially because she was totaled. The shocks are horrible, every tiny bump will sling you around the cab. I'm not really a truck kind of girl so personally it being a truck is a con for me.

The staff at Cherokee Ford was friendly and knowledgeable, as always. They don't try to push cars on you, like most other dealerships will. I had previously purchased a used car from this dealership. They also provided me with a discount, which I loved. They are most certainly willing to work with their customers here.
