Excellent truck.
The 1992 Ford Ranger is still a great truck for 2017. My Ranger has over 150, 000 miles on it, and I've had major engine repairs done on it only once. While its handling and performance is in line with what you would expect from a '90s vehicle and considering how old it is, it has held up incredibly well. Even the interior of the '92 Ranger is holding up well, with only a few threadbare patches in the driver's seat. The paint by this point is faded and chipped, but again, considering the truck's age, is incredibly well preserved. I had one issue with the wiring in the dashboard, but that was quickly and easily repaired by a professional. Changing the oil is easy for even someone completely unfamiliar with the process. This is a great starter truck for a teenager. My particular model did not come with a CD player but only an AM/FM radio. Ford trucks from this era did not include airbags. The bed of the truck is large, even for an LX model. You will find that you can put a huge amount of unusually sized items.

Very satisfied
This Ford Ranger Pickup XLT was an emergency buy. My previous vehicle was not running and was more to repair than acquiring this vehicle from a co-worker under the conditions that I was offered. I was indifferent to this vehicle at first. It is, however, the first pickup I have ever owned. I grew to see the versatility of a pickup from this vehicle. It has also turned out to be the most reliable, versatile, and easy to own and maintain of the vehicles I have owned. I also learned the value of a five speed manual transmission from this vehicle.
