So glad that I purchased this truck!
I have usually owned midsize cars through-out my life mainly focused around American muscle. This was the first truck that I purchased and I got it shortly after I was in a major automobile accident and lost my main vehicle. What I absolutely love about this vehicle is that it is large enough that I can feel safe riding it and the frame is extremely sturdy so I feel like I am safe inside my little tank. But the truck isn't so huge that it is hard to maneuver or anything like that so it isn't a pain to drive which is absolutely perfect. I moved out to an area that gets major snow in the winters and I originally lived in southern California, the land that snow forgot! Making the switch to a four wheel drive truck when I moved there literally made all the difference because even as a novice at winter driving I can be safe and secure in the truck no matter what the road conditions.

Great Little Truck
I purchased this truck as a demo and did not know that they were going to stop making the Ranger. I really like the new lines and badging that Ford put on the post 2008 models. I enjoyed the extended cab design and felt that the 6 cyl motor had plenty of pep for the Houston freeways. It was just the right size to haul stuff around in and not break the bank with fuel costs. I have used the four wheel drive in the soft sand at the beach and in the mud for duck hunting - both times this little Ford did its job just fine. The color was nice also. I got my Ranger in white with nice aluminum rims and with the windows tinted and a good camper the truck turned out pretty nice. I did upgrade the brakes and put on a little fatter tires, but even before that it looked like a proper little truck. The interior is roomy and has held up pretty well in the Texas sun. The steering wheel is solid and comfy. I like the height the truck sits at and I feel the auto transmission shifts rather smoothly. At the time I bought the truck I felt that the design and interior were a bit dated, and the interior especially was a little behind the times. The original tires on it were a little wimpy and they did not take to the heavy Texas rains too well. I upgraded the brakes almost immediately because I felt the pads were weak and of a lower quality. But all in all the '12 Ranger is a solid little truck and has held up really nicely.
