I have 109,000 happy and satisfied miles on my 2011 Ford Ranger. It is the last year of production and they perfected it. It is just the right size, so I can park it easily. The 6' bed is perfect for hauling dogs and supplies. I've kept up the maintenance and had one brake change, radiator and water pump replaced.

I have manual transmission. Also, the truck I have is basic model no extras at all. Getting on freeway is not as easy as with other vehicles. This truck does not get up to speed quickly. Does not have a lot of power, but then again, I only have 2.5 L engine, and the truck is almost 20 years old. Just now at 98,000 miles, it has started dying after accelerating and then slowing down. There also does seem to be something wrong going on with it because often windshield wipers come on for no reason and door ajar light and overhead light for no reason.
