2003 Ford Taurus - Very good car
After I had a wreck in my last Ford Taurus and seeing how it handled in the wreck, I decided I definitely needed another Ford Taurus. The trunk actually went under the car, so if I had my kids in the car with me, they would be less likely to get hurt. After my wreck, I went in search of another Ford Taurus to replace the first one. I got my current one with 18,000 miles on it back in 2009. Now, it is 2018, and I have 187,000 miles and still love my car.
Story
My daughter had to take her driving test. Our truck was in the shop. My daughter said she enjoys driving my car better than the truck (and she absolutely loves the truck).
Pros
The car drives well and is quiet. Some days I have problems hearing if it is still actually running. I love how roomy it is. My kids don't feel cramped on long trips. I have a huge trunk to hold everything. It gets great gas mileage.
Cons
I have a glitch where my windows won't always roll down. There is a glitch where my check engine light stays on all of the time, but I was told not to worry about it. It is a car, and tall people evidentially have issues getting into cars.
2001 Ford Taurus - Great family car
I really like how this car looks. It's got smooth, rounded edges and isn't too boxy. We have 3 kids and the backseat is roomy enough for all of them to sit comfortably, even with one of them still in a bulky car seat. It's also easy to access the children to buckle them in. The trunk is huge and allows for big shopping trips. This car also gets great gas mileage; we only fill it up once every week or two, even though it is our main family car.
Story
We take road trips to theme parks in this all the time. I love it when all three ids are happy and tired in the back seat on their way home.
Pros
Some of my favorite things about this car are the gas mileage, outer appearance, spacious interior and large trunk. Also, it has the look of a middle class family car, it's nicer to show up in than a minivan or a station wagon would be. And finally, when something does go wrong the parts for this car are surprisingly cheap compared to some others that we have owned before.
Cons
We have had to replace the alternator twice since we got the car four years ago and our mechanic said that with the Taurus they seem to go out pretty regularly. It's also a little too low to the ground; we seem to bottom out and scrape at speed bumps no matter how slow we are going.

1997 Ford Taurus - Midco Auto Sales Paragould
I actually felt like I was buying from a friend.
They did not have what I needed at the time but said they would call when they found something and it was perfect for what I needed.
They helped me with financing even though I had no credit.
It's a small dealership with reasonable prices.
I feel like they are honest.
