Drive very carefully. I've had a few close calls with careless drivers and many people I work with have horror stories of accidents and close calls.
Having a good suspension is very important. The majority of the roads are rather horrible, such as the potholes and near constant road work in the center near the Crossing for the Commuter Rail train tracks in the center. Sticking to main roads such as Route Nine or parts of route 126 (past the train tracks and driving away from Ashland) is ideal.
One of my favorite memories would be driving down Route Nine during one of the very rare instances where it wasn't totally congested with traffic in early summer. The trip wasn't exactly enjoyable until a few miles after I passed the mall. it instantly switched from being a very metropolitan scenery to a much more sparsely distributed (business wise) area. After a while there was lake to my right and after that seemed almost like driving through a forest. While there were still buildings, it was a breath of fresh air compared to the condensed structures of the center and further back on the road.
Route 9. Later at night or on the rare days its not congested with traffic scenery is rather pleasant. Especially near the street for Staples Headquarters (heading away from Boston)

Leave for your destination early as certain roads at certain times can become congested also make sure to keep a full tank of gas on hand
When buying a car in this city you should look for something durable and in good running order rather than for looks due to climate changes and in climate weather in the winter months... You will find a few small dealerships in the area with both new and used cars also the local newspaper classifieds are a good resource
I don't really have a favorite memory in particular but I do like driving the deserted back roads on a warm sunny day you never know where you may end up.. There is usually some kind of an interesting event or fair happening most of the time
Badger Rd. There is nice scenery large secluded homes and the road is hilly and rural enough without being full of pot holes and divots to be able to drive faster than you can on the main roads without too much safety concern or other problems and have a bit of fun! :)
