2008 GMC Acadia - One of my best purchases
I truly love almost everything about my Acadia. I have two children in car seats, and my husband and I are both six feet tall, so we needed a lot of space.
Story
During firework shows for holidays, we always get stuff to decorate our hatch with. We'd park, raise the hatch, and enjoy the fireworks.
Pros
My number one thing is how much room we have. My husband and I aren't cramped up front. We have a rear-facing child and a forward-facing child, and they both have plenty of room. There's even acceptable space in the third row (another pro) in case anybody else needed to ride with us.
Cons
One of the only things I don't like about the vehicle is the way some of the interior is made. The gear shift and sliding cover for the middle console have little lines, and while it looks nice, it is a pain to clean. Anything and everything gets in the cracks, and it's pretty much impossible to get them out. Another big con is where the battery is located. We've had to boost it once because my battery died, and it's located in the floorboard behind the passenger side seat. It is most definitely a hassle to get to.
