Don't waste your money.
The only thing this vehicle has going for it is its looks. And that's because the engineers knew you'd be staring at it in your driveway wondering how you are going to pay for yet another poorly designed part to be replaced. This vehicle has needed a new transmission, new blower motor, and the sunroof leaks. There are more rattles than the baby aisle at baby depot. The carpet was so full of water that the electrical wires were sitting in a puddle. It turns out the air conditioner condenser drain got clogged and the water leaked back into the blower motor compartment which conveniently enough was designed to hold just enough water that the motor would sit submerged as you wondered where that carpet was getting wet from. Also, the sunroof is designed to drain into a channel above the headliner that you can reach your fingers into while sitting inside the car. That drain clogged too. If you guessed the water would then drain into the headliner, then you would be correct. Finally the transmission died at 80k miles. Look it up on the forums, the wave plate/clutch assembly wasn't properly heat treated and is known to fail at even less miles than mine did.

Highly Satisfied With My Acadia
Our Acadia is quickly approaching 100,000 miles and everything about it is still fantastic. It has only needed routine maintenance and is very dependable. It rides smooth and is comfortable to drive. I only have 2 kids, but it's so nice to be able to take extra passengers if needed with our seating for 7. And if that seating isn't needed, it's REALLY easy to put the back seats down and then you have a ton of cargo space. Speaking of kids, our leather interior has held up extremely well and is so easy to wipe clean. I also love the look of the vehicle. Even though it isn't new, the styling is such that it still looks like a new vehicle. It doesn't get great gas mileage, but I would say above average compared to other SUV's.
