Overall, I think the Equinox is a good practical automobile. I feel the ride of the vehicle is comfortable and fairly quiet. The Equinox gets excellent gas mileage, especially for a mid-size vehicle. The look of the automobile is sporty but roomy enough for a small family.

The Acadia boasts a luxury-grade interior with soft-touch finishes, especially in the top-of-the-line Denali trim. Most trims offer seating for eight in three rows, but upper trims have second-row captain’s chairs that reduce the capacity to seven. Cloth upholstery comes standard. Some models have leather seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated and cooled power-adjustable front seats. All three rows have enough room for adult passengers, much like a full-size SUV. The second-row seats are positioned too low for optimal comfort, however. There are two complete sets of LATCH car-seat connectors in the rear outboard seats and a tether-only connection in the middle seat. The Acadia has about 116 cubic feet of maximum cargo space, which is exceptional for the class.
