I liked that I bought it used for only $2000. I disliked that the air conditioner compressor was out of service and the radio speakers were only semi-functional. The speakers stopped working within a couple of years, as did the tape player (which started eating up tapes and causing one side to bleed onto the other). Also the shotgun side door handle stopped working, and the driver side door handle broke so that I have to roll the window down and open the door from the outside. Aside from that I've had to replace the brakes once, I've had to replace the CV joints, I've had to replace the throttle body, the fuel pump has gone out on me, the differential fell out and I had to replace the back end from the resulting damage, and the electrical circuits to the dome light, dashboard light and tail lights have gone out. Also the gas tank gauge has gone out on me, so I have to top it off every time I go into town just to be safe. But I've had it almost 16 years, and it's 30 years old, so the maintenance costs overall are fairly reasonable and it runs pretty well (although the engine has limited power going up hill) all things considered. I can get by only driving into town once a month or so, so hopefully it will hold out for a while.
