I bought this car in March of 2015 and actually left the lot with it on a road trip. I immediately fell in love with the car. It rides very quiet and comfortable. I often have adults in the back seat of my car and needed something with a lot of space without being too big and the Terrain has that. The electronics in the Terrain rival any luxury vehicle on the market with a great touch screen navigation system plus XM radio. My seats are heated and air conditioned, and they are cloth seats which was a big selling point for me.
Story
This vehicle handles the snow very well and makes it driving around during snow and/or ice storms very enjoyable!
Pros
There are so many great things about this car. The size is perfect for my family of 3 plus 2 dogs. The seating is very comfortable for long rides and there is plenty of leg room in the front and back plus a great trunk space. The sound system sounds great no matter what kind of music you play. I have about 30,000 miles on it and have had absolutely no problems with the engine. The tires hold up great, my old car would get flat tires a lot because my parents live down a gravel/dirt road and these tires have been great.
Cons
The only negative thing I can think of is I'm not crazy about the eco boost system it has. If it's in eco mode, sometimes the transmission seems to lag and not want to shift very quickly which makes it a little difficult to merge on the highway sometimes. Usually I turn it off for a few minutes when I know I need to rapidly accelerate and it does fine.

The terrain is a great crossover. It has two rows of seating with plenty of cargo space in the back. The six cylinder engine is surprisingly powerful, and performs well. It goes and stops when it needs to, this really shouldn't need to be stated, but I have driven enough cars that just don't seem to want to do either when you really need it to appreciate a car that responds quickly and powerfully. Gas mileage is better than a vehicle that was pretty comparable.
Story
Several weeks ago my husband and I took our two dobermans to a doberman walk at a park about an hour and a half away. We loaded up our three kids, the dogs, and a picnic lunch. Driving the terrain really is fun and there was plenty of room. The mp3 jack is great, we plugged in the ipod and had a great trip.
Pros
First of all the it just looks good. Inside it has some details, such as red threading on the doors that just adds a bit of style. I have three kids and the second row has plenty of room for two car seats and a 10 year old. The cargo space in the back is more than enough.
Cons
At times a third row of seating would be nice. Even though for a six cylinder, it has quite a bit of power, I would prefer an eight cylinder. The rear cup holder is in the middle and can not be accessed when someone is in the middle seat. Since we have three children, this is a bit of a pain.
