2012 GMC Yukon XL - Great vehicle for travelling in with children.
Sometimes I do not like that it is so big and that it is a little tough to maneuver in and out of tight spaces. I find that because of this I have to park further down in parking lots where no ones parks so it is not so hard to get in and out of a spot. I also do not like that it does not get the greatest gas mileage. It used to be a huge problem when I worked a full time job but not so much so now that I work from home. I do like that it is very spacious especially for my extremely long legged oldest son. all the kids can fit comfortably in there and be somewhat separated. I also enjoy the fact that it has did players built in so the kids have some entertainment on long trips. Also the storage room in the back is great for loading up to go on trips and for going to the grocery store. ... (more)
Story
I enjoy loading everyone up and going to the baseball fields for my sons games especially when they have friends over. It fits everyone perfectly.
Pros
Lots of space, great for travelling.
Cons
Gas mileage and being tough to maneuver around in.
2007 GMC Yukon XL - Statement maker.
The vehicle is sleek and sophisticated. I love the way the lines flow for the build. I have no issues with the performance of the vehicle. However, it is not very efficient on gas. It is a guzzler for sure.
Story
My family and I packed an six people into the truck and all of our gear to head to Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan for the annual fireworks display this summer. We were able to load all of the things without cramping anyone's style.
Pros
I love that I do not have to attach our bike to the hood or the truck using a bike rack. Two–three bikes fit in the rear with the seats let down. I adore the smooth tan interior of the vehicle. It makes me feel like I'm on a sandy beach.
Cons
I can only say that I have one con with my vehicle. It is more expensive than I expected to fill the gas tank. However, it is an older model, so I am thinking about a newer model of the same vehicle but has to be better on gas.
