I have owned Hondas in the past, my first car was an Accord (1992). So when I needed to purchase a reliable car, I went back to the Accord. How times have changed. The first thing I noticed is the build quality has gone down hill (cheap plastics, rattles in strange places etc.). I had to replace my "battery" at 15K miles (what they consider a battery) and have just replaced the rear brake pads and rotors at 29K miles. To me, it seems like Honda has started cheaping out. This will be my last Honda, until they start putting some quality back into their vehicles. It is plenty fast and handles well despite what some magazines say. Yes it is a little big but it drives small. The VCM and grade logic are good features but can get annoying if you don't know how to manipulate them. Ours is whit... (more)
Story
I live in San Diego so the best thing about my car is the gas mileage! I drive up to 30 miles one way to work and 30 miles back home. The gas mileage is above average for a sedan like this Accord! It was one of the best in class.
Pros
Sunroof, stereo, seats are fine for me, engine, transmission, gauges, visibility, turning radius, speed (you will think you're doing 35 and you'll be actually doing 50), handling, safety features. V-Tech is a blast. Go over 4000 RPM and feel an amazing top end boost that just throws that 270 horsepower right at the wheels. Awesome. The look is fantastic. The power leather seats look and feel great. The stock stereo sounds very good, not great, but very good. Love the sunroof and fog lights as well. This car just flat out rocks. It's very roomy for a coupe. Appearance - exterior and interio... (more)
Cons
Go back to some of the features on the 2007 model, center front cup holders (adjustable), cup holder/pocket on the doors of the 2010 model are too big/wide (beverage slides), lighter gray reveals less dirt and lint, closed pocket on door handle, able to let rear seat down from inside the car, go back to the carbon fiber premium accent look, LED brake-light on the truck. Enable iPod skip from steering wheel and display track info on radio panel when using auxiliary jack. Rear/mirror defogger is deactivated when the ignition is turned off (doesn't work with remote engine starter). I felt the... (more)

The Honda Accord is a great vehicle to own. I am so proud to own that vehicle brand new 2016 until the present. It is technologically advanced, which was the second reason why I chose that vehicle. The 1st reason was it's supper reliable. I have been taking care of my black stallion since the day I bought it. It is a vehicle that everyone should have. It has CarPlay, goes above 160 and it's efficient with gas. Gas will last me about a week and half on that vehicle.
Story
Most memorable had to be my honeymoon on a water buffalo. It was in December. We put our bikes on our trailer and drove from Indiana to Florida. Then we parked the wagon and took off on the 750 with camping gear. We made it all the way to Key West and had a great time.
Pros
The AccordÕs typically fluid ride-and-handling balance is in full effect here, as is reasonably communicative electric power steering, which combats the sportÕs nose-heavy 59/41-percent weight distribution with light but never limp steering action. Acceleration is seamless if not exactly quick, with the zero-to-60-mph dash consuming a full 7.0 seconds and the quarter-mile run requiring 15.5 seconds with the sport clearing the traps at 92 mph. While those results easily top the 7.6- and 15.9-second times we extracted from a 2016 Accord EX with a CVT automatic, we should note that better num... (more)
Cons
The Honda service department told me that the rear brakes are bad and need to be replaced as soon as possible. They said I would have to pay out of pocket for that expense. I said to the service department, "How is that my responsibility since your company just sold me the car?" They told there was nothing they could do for me. I thought when you purchase a car that should be checked and fixed before selling.

Salesmen were friendly and not pushy. When I first arrived, I told them what I was looking for and asked if they could point me in the right direction. I had my kids with me and they did not mind at all when they started getting bored. Instead they brought snacks for them. Helped me get the right car for me.
