I would have to say the car does look nice especially for how long ago it was built. The styling has definitely aged quite nicely and I'd dare to say I appreciate the lines on the car more that the current models that are being produced today. The gas mileage is excellent, with the eco light on the speedometer its easy to learn how to get the most out of your gas tank. The car is comfortable to drive with great amount of space. I'm right under 6 and a half feet tall and can fit in the back seat, so leg room isn't an issue for the average rider. The car hasn't given me any major issues yet and the odometer is right under 156k, the car still drives like it did at 50k and I would not have a problem buying another. If your not in the price range of buying luxury this is a very good close s... (more)
Story
A few weeks ago my battery in the remote died, I've been to busy to remember to buy a new one. I was at the biggest parking garage at the U of Arizona and had forgotten exactly where I parked my car after looking for a few mins I saw my car and the same model and color parked next to it.. Because my battery was dead in the remote I couldn't just tap the button to see which one was mine. I ende... (more)
Pros
Good gas mileage easy maintenance smooth ride good acceleration the gps is separate from the audio and easy to use, good placement as well right under the top of the dash
Cons
You can't stand out too much with this car but its worth the practicality the electronics can get a little sensitive I've had to replace the wind shield 3 times because the car is lower

2006 Honda Accord - A Reliable, Quality Car With Enough Pep to be Fun

Overall, this car has been exceptional. Reliability has been through the roof, I have not had any issues with it beyond routine maintenance. The interior is solid everything feels heavy, unlike some newer cars that I have felt I could easily break the light plastic door handles inside. The V6 engine has enough pep to shatter my prior notion that Hondas were 'boring' to drive and the handling is solid. The gas mileage isn't great, but for the engine size it's good enough (~27mpg highway). The comfort level of the seats is good, though not the best, but the backseat has enough leg room to easily fit four adults for long trips. The trunk has a surprising amount of space, as well as the backseat when folded down. In the winter I put on a set of snow tires and this thing is like a tank, no ... (more)
Story
Driving up to the White Mountains for some backcountry X-C skiing and being able to handle the icy/snowy hills to get to the best spots a year after being stuck on those same hills with a similar, unnamed competitor's sedan.
Pros
The reliability and the fun drive are easily the best aspects of this car. The leather seats are great and easy to clean, and being able to drive around myself and three adults in comfort is priceless. The cargo space is ample for a sedan and the trunk pass through is awesome for carrying passengers and skis without a roof rack. The whole car is a pro.
Cons
The only possible cons are the gas mileage (not bad, but pales in comparison to many newer cars) and the back seat doesn't have a 60/40 split for folding down (it's all or nothing). Also, the height of the car, like many sedans, puts you level with many truck/SUV headlights, so night driving can be a bit distracting. If a car vehicle gets behind you the headlights will be shining directly into your side view mirrors.
