It was my first time buying a car so I walked into the situation a little bit nervous. I found the salespeople working at University Honda to be incredibly helpful however, nothing like what I had imagined car salespeople to be. They walked me through the whole process, answered all my questions, and gave me a great deal on my car. I never felt that they were pushing me or trying to sucker me. I was very pleased.

I purchased the vehicle from my grandparents about six years ago, and even though it was over 15 years old at that point it was still in great condition. Now it has over 200k miles on it and still runs great. The car is super reliable and parts are generally very cheap if it does need maintenance. The transmission was replaced in 2005, before I bought it, but that is the only major repair that it's needed in its lifetime. In terms of style, it hasn't really held up and is obviously dated - but compared to most other things from the '90s it's actually not too bad. Fuel economy is usually around 30 mpg which is pretty good as well. That being said, it is apparently very easy to steal and this particular car has been stolen twice in the time I've owned it. Despite that, I would definitely... (more)
Story
I've driven this vehicle across the country from San Francisco to Baltimore. This car has seen the beach, traversed the desert, and crossed snow capped mountains. It has more life experience than most people.
Pros
Affordability Reliability Fuel Economy Easy to drive Power everything
Cons
No CD player Outdated style Super easy to steal

I've had my car since 2002 when I bought it brand new. For the last 13 years this car has been with me through all the major events of my adult life and it has yet to let me down. The car gets incredible gas mileage and rarely breaks down. In the 13 years I've had it I've never had to do any major maintenance and my cost of ownership is lower then any of my friends. The only thing I dislike about this car is that its only a 2 door, as I've gotten older my life has changed and I now have a baby. It is very inconvenient to bring a baby in a 2 door sedan.
Pros
There are so many great features about this car that its hard to list them all. To start though it gets incredible gas mileage, 27 city 32 highway, and after 13 years of running it still holds to this. It needs NO maintenance, like none at all. I've replaced the timing belt once and the air filter. Other then the tires/brakes, which are always changing, there is nothing else to do on this car. It is very sleek as well, for a 13 year old car it still has enough of a presence that I am proud to drive it anywhere I go.
Cons
The only negative about my particular make and model of this car is that its a 2 door. A 2 door sedan is not kid friendly and I now have one.

I like driving my accord. The body is nice and simple. I like that it has a spoiler on the trunk. The car has over 200,000 miles and still runs well. I have regular maintenance performed on it, and overall, I haven't had any real issues. Although it isn't powerful like a newer car, it still runs really well. It is an older car, and the AC isn't 100% cold. However, it still blows cool. It works for summer weather in over 100 degree temps. The acceleration could be a little more steady. It does have a weird shifting for an automatic car. But overall, I really like the car.
Story
Driving on the palm springs strip, my friend was giving me directions and told me to make a turn down one of the one-way roads, so I did. It wasn't until I saw cars parked along the side of the street that we realized it was the wrong one-way and luckily, we were able to turn around before any cars came down towards us.
Pros
My favorite features of this vehicle would include the interior not being leather. I do not like to sit on a hot leather seat in the summer and burn my legs. The motor runs. I've never had this car break down on me since I've owned it. Changing the oil is simple enough that my husband can do it on his own. It is a Honda, so the car should run for a lot longer.
Cons
The AC isn't ice cold like I would prefer. The car doesn't accelerate as well as a newer car, but still gets me from A to B.
