Overall the 2002 Honda Accord is one of the most solid vehicles I have ever driven. It has had only a handful of problems in the 14 years and over 250,000 miles of its existence. It has been taken on numerous long road trips as well as being driven on a lengthy work-day commute for nearly a decade. This is a quality car that just won't stop.

This car has held up beautifully. I have only had two minor repairs in ten years! At the time I bought the car, I was focused on the fact that it was easy to properly put in and remove car seats, and it was a safe car for my family. After ten years, and another round of car seats, I can still say it was a solid purchase. The paint still looks new, though I have kept it in a garage, and the dash still cleans up well. I do find it is a little small for my six-foot husband to drive comfortably. It comfortably seats four, but when we add in a medium-sized dog, it gets a bit cramped. I wish I could get XM radio, and the CD player feels obsolete. I plan to pass the car on to my son in a few years, and I think he can get a lot of mileage on it before he trades up. I will definitely buy a Honda again, and I think this is a dependable vehicle that was well worth what I paid for it. It has held its value as well.
