This car has held up beautifully. I have only had two minor repairs in ten years! At the time I bought the car, I was focused on the fact that it was easy to properly put in and remove car seats, and it was a safe car for my family. After ten years, and another round of car seats, I can still say it was a solid purchase. The paint still looks new, though I have kept it in a garage, and the dash still cleans up well. I do find it is a little small for my six-foot husband to drive comfortably. It comfortably seats four, but when we add in a medium-sized dog, it gets a bit cramped. I wish I could get XM radio, and the CD player feels obsolete. I plan to pass the car on to my son in a few years, and I think he can get a lot of mileage on it before he trades up. I will definitely b... (more)
Story
My children are always trying to open other people's cars because they think they are mine. I guess my paint color is pretty popular. A few months ago in Memphis, I watched as another mom had to tell her son to quit pulling on my car's door handle. She looked at me and told me that he was always doing that.
Pros
Dependable. Few repairs needed in a decade. Family friendly. Affordable. Holds its value and still doesn't look dated or old.
Cons
No Sirius radio and an obsolete CD player. Not made for big men or for more than four passengers.

What I like about this car is the V6 engine performance. When asked to perform with downshift or acceleration in town or on the open road, this vehicle answers with immediate response. The leather interior is comfortable, easy to clean and compliments the overall styling of the vehicle.
Story
The one fun/memorable story I've had using this vehicle around my location is my grandson driving the car for the first time.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are engine performance, leather interior, quiet ride and fun to drive. The vehicle is very nimble meaning it handles very well in corners, curves and on the open road. With the sloping hood, visual sight is not hindered in any way allowing the driver to accurately perceive depth perception in front of the car.
Cons
The top negative things about this vehicle is the sloping hood design. Road debris from interstate driving has left multiple peck marks on the surface of the hood to the extent the hood needs to be repainted to match the very nice finish on the rest of the car. With this sloping design, there is no wind deflection so the windshield has multiple pecks in its surface. Another negative is the front-wheel drive torque. When passing and using downshift, the vehicle tends to pull to one side from the engine torque thus the need to really hold on to the steering wheel to keep the vehicle in a str... (more)

There was no pressure from them in buying the car. They made it very simple and they gave great information. They weren't trying to swindle you or make you feel like you had to close the deal. They were really willing to talk with you about the product to make sure that you felt comfortable with what you were buying.

Adventure Subaru is not pushy like other car dealerships. They listen to the customer and are intent on giving them a good deal. They are upfront about their vehicles, the vehicles' history, and do not overprice. They also make generous offers on your trade in. There are no hidden fees - everything is laid out in the open and is very simple.
