This car, overall, is a fantastic car. Like any car, there are some negative aspects, but those negatives are far outweighed by the positive. In fact, the negatives are really almost to the point of grasping at straws just to be objective. Honda brand cars are generally seen as reliable and a great value. I would whole heartedly agree with that, and say based off of my experience with this car it is a well earned reputation. Not only that, my experience with this vehicle, eventually led my wife and I to purchase another Honda years later. We were able to do so knowing how great this car had been, and continues to be. There is something to be said for knowing your car will be a great purchase, with minimal upkeep, and high reliability.
Story
The power of the car and its handling are pretty ideal for snowy/slushy winter days when a lot of people struggle to drive.
Pros
The ride of the car is incredibly smooth. The cabin noise is pretty quiet as well. Although the car is "only" a 4 cylinder engine, since it is a VTECH, it performs really well. Accelerating is easy, and you can just hear the purr of the engine. It never gets really loud, it just goes. One of the best features on this car, is that if you press the key fob three times on the unlock button and hold it, all the windows will roll down. This is huge during warm summers when any car can get insanely hot and sealed in heat. Maintenance on the car is pretty minimal. The car does not require any spe... (more)
Cons
As I stated in the pros, the huge trunk space has a drawback. Backing up in the car can be a little interesting. The view isn't quite as good as other vehicles I have driven or owned. Keep in mind, this is also very much pre-back up cameras, so more recent models have likely either fixed the pure visual design flaw or have compensated with a back up camera. The size of the car is also a net negative to me now. I believe I like smaller cars because I do a fair amount of city/suburban driving where spaces are or are getting tight. Plus, the fuel efficiency of smaller cars is something I now ... (more)

I am the proud owner of a 2000 Honda Accord, and I have to say that I absolutely love my car. I've had it since high school, and it's been with me through college, work, and everything in between. Any repairs I have had to make have been general maintenance (new belts, some struts, tires and breaks) based on the miles that have been put on the car as well its age. And when it does have a problem, it has been significantly cheaper to repair since it is such a common vehicle. Overall though, it's been a great car for me, and I would buy it again if given the opportunity.
Story
I used to work at a retirement community and for years you were allowed to park on both sides of the road that it was on. One summer, they changed that but, out of habit, I parked on the wrong side and got a ticket. It was the first ticket of any kind I had ever gotten so it was a moment that made me feel a little dumb for making that mistake. That Sunday at church, my pastor told a story in h... (more)
Pros
The Honda Accord is a solid vehicle that has been reliable for me in the same way that any good friend is. I've put almost 200,000 miles on it, and I haven't had anything too major happen to it. I drive a lot for my job, usually racking up around 400-500 miles a month. I can say that I generally don't have to fill up (only once or twice a week) that much even with all the driving I do which is much appreciated. My only real complaints about the car is that its turning radius is pretty terrible, and its seats could be more comfortable.
Cons
Bad turning radius, and the seats aren't very comfortable.

This dealership is the best because it is conveniently located and has good customer service. I had recently been in an accident and the insurance company had evaluated my car as a total loss. I walked into Honda of Annapolis and walked out a couple hours later with a new car at a fair price. They were able to handle everything including registration. I was even able to compare their financing options with my bank's while I waited.
