I have owned this car through high school, college, and now a couple years into my career. I have about 170,000 miles on it, and I'm not sure what the mileage was when I first got it. It has been extremely reliable and an overall dependable car. I have dealt with normal wear and tear issues, and in one case an animal chewed the wiring for the A/C, but I haven't had any major malfunctions with the car. What I love most about it is the super responsive breaks that have saved me several times from rear-ending a suddenly stopped vehicle. At my last place of residence, I had a 30-minute commute to work and back, and the car has served me well for that. Two years ago, our state got a very rare ten-inch snowfall, and the car did just fine in the ice and snow after the roads were scraped... (more)
Story
I have driven this car several times in the mountain range I used to live near. It was great fun driving along the parkway. Once, my fiancé and I happened to spot fireworks over the mountains during one of these mountain driving trips, and we pulled over to watch. We were at such high elevation we had to look down at the fireworks. It was one of the coolest things we've ever stumbled upon.
Pros
The top positives are the car's reliability. I have had no major malfunctions with the car other than general wear and tear problems. The maintenance on the car is very low. If a reliable car is what you're looking for, the Accord is a great choice.
Cons
When I was commuting, the gas mileage was not as friendly as when I travelled less. I had to fill up my car once a week, which was more than the steady once every other week I was used to. Though I had to fill up more, I still filled up less than my fiancé, who has a Toyota Tacoma. Also, my tires seem to look low pressure all the time, despite having tried different brands. Also, the car is very utilitarian and not so great on the eyes after many years of use. This personally doesn't bother me at all, but I could see how someone might not appreciate that.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord standard edition. I enjoy this car for the smooth ride feeling and low engine noise when riding around town or the highway. It has excellent pickup ability on the mountain roads where I live, and the tire traction is excellent. The car starts up easily and has survived the harsh winters without having to preheat the car before using. The air conditioning is top notch and blows very cold and heats easily.
Story
I used this vehicle to visit Pilot Mountain in North Carolina. The trip up to the top of the mountain included very sharp turns and severe inclines. The Accord whipped around turns with ease and had excellent pickup. I never had to worry about struggling to get to the top or bottom of the mountain, and the one lane roads would have been a nightmare without such excellent handling of the roads.
Pros
My most favorite vehicle feature is for sure the aux cord ability! I moved to a new town in the mountains where the radio signal is not very strong. Being able to plug in my phone for music is a lifesaver! I also like that I get 35 miles to the gallon. The car comes with excellent braking abilities and hugs the road well. The engine has not required much tune up besides oil changes. The Accord also offers amazing trunk space to hold my children's school needs and has an extra tire in the trunk.
Cons
I do not like how easily the fabric interior gets stained. I had to place seat covers over my seats to reduce the stains that my children are so prone to incur. My only other gripe with the vehicles is that I have had to change the back and front bulbs more frequently than other models of Honda I have had in the past.

The dealership is brand new and has a newly renovated building complete with comfortable sitting and meeting areas for customers. The dealer that I worked with at this dealership was very friendly and jovial. I also liked the selection and range of cars they offered here, the new building offers a lot of space in the lot for a large inventory of cars. They were also flexible and committed to ordering a car if I did not like the car choices available on site.

Someone had traded the Honda Civic in for a Chevrolet so the price was a very good deal. They took a picture of me beside my new car and sent me a calendar in the mail a few weeks later which had my picture on top. They also enclosed an electronic copy of the picture to show my friends.
