In my opinion the 2013 Honda Accord is the best overall car in the midsize class. The Honda Accord does most things well and it gets all the important things right. The Accord has good power and gas mileage. Although the acceleration and power from a standstill are only adequate, the power and acceleration at highway speeds are surprisingly robust. If you drive the car at the speed limit you can easily manage 35 miles per gallon or more on long distance trips. Moreover, the Accord has a spacious and comfortable interior. The Accord will easily seat 4 adults. There is great rear seat leg and head room. While the ride of the Accord is a bit harsh on bumpy roads, it's tolerable. There are tradeoffs to a stiffer suspension; such stiffness in the suspension gives the driver confidence drivi... (more)
Title
The Accord made our 2 hour drive down to the shore fun and pleasant. We didn't have to stop to refuel and we didn't have to worry about being cramped in our seats. The Accord made the trip easy.
Pros
In no particular order, the top features of the 2013 Honda Accord Ex-L are: 1) surprising power 2) excellent highway gas mileage 3) passenger mirror camera 4) 2 button driver seat memory 5) good interior space and comfort 6) the cvt transmission on the 4 cylinder models can often be very smooth 7) the exterior styling is handsome and will age well
Cons
In no particular order, the top negative features of the 2013 Accord Ex-L are: 1) poor exterior paint. It chips and scratches extremely easily 2) occasional shuttering at stops in cold weather from the cvt transmission on 4 cylinder models 3) poor sound quality from the radio 4) somewhat confusing dual screens on the dashboard 5) leather seats are merely adequate quality 6) the ride quality can be a bit harsh on bumpy roads 7) glass quality is merely adequate, it seems to scratch easily 8) more expensive then other cars in the segment

The whole vehicle feels incredibly well made. The interior has leather seats and high quality paneling. The steering wheel is nice and firm, not overly assisted and seems to have a 1:1 relationship with the tires. The suspension feels nice and firm, and even on the local back roads it's a smooth pleasure to drive. It also includes a pretty generous set of features including dual-climate zones, driver and front passenger powered seats, seat warmers, six-disc CD changer, and aux/usb in. The car has been nearly maintenance free in the year I've owned it with the only maintenance I have had to do being a brake change. The engine feels powerful despite it being a four-cylinder, and the fuel economy has been great (23 city, 34 hwy). Even the trunk is nice; I can fit multiple laundry baskets ... (more)
Title
I really enjoyed the time I took the car out with my wife and cruised around one of the local towns on a nice day. We were able to choose activities and enjoy the comfort of the car going from one place to the next.
Pros
The steering wheel is amazing, well built, and perfectly balanced. The suspension is firm and smooth with just enough give to prevent feeling bumps too harshly. The seats have great back support and can be adjusted in many ways. The sound system sounds amazing. The engine feels very powerful, far better than all the four-cylinder cars I test drove.
Cons
In my vehicle, there are a few buttons in the dash control area that do not light up that I still need to get fixed. The high setting on the seat warmers stopped working. I wish there was more torque in the lower RPMs.
