This has been a great car. I bought it used three years ago from a family. After 13 years, it still looked great. I have had no issues with the paint or the interior leather and carpets. The engine runs quietly and smoothly, unless it is in need of oil or some other repair. The ride is smooth, and it accelerates smoothly. My model is a manual, and I have not had any transmission issues to date nor had the previous owner. I have had some work done on the engine, due to personal neglect, but this could be mitigated by an owner that is more attentive. The model I own also has a nice moon roof that opens for venting (kicks up the back portion) or slides all the way back to open entirely. The turning radius on this car isn't the greatest, but it's not the worst. For comparison, the same ye... (more)
Story
There are so many of these cars, especially in silver like mine, in my town. On top of that, a lot of the owners are college students (like I was), so we all share a similar "Chico State" sticker. I had to put a second sticker on my car to make it recognizable, because I almost tried to get into the wrong car by campus one night.
Pros
My favorite feature of this car is the ability to fit lots of stuff inside both the cabin and the trunk. Despite being a sedan, it has moved me from multiple apartments and has gone on a number of skiing and surfing trips with all sorts of equipment. The moon roof is always nice on a clear night or a sunny day. This car has the usual Honda hardiness and efficiency; driving 30 miles round trip to work each day gives me about 28 mpg.
Cons
This car does burn oil pretty quickly, which I understand is a common flaw for older Honda cars. I have to check the oil level about once every ten days and top it off frequently. Also, the rubber trim on the doors has faded and cracked off, but after 15 years or so in the sun, I'm not too worried (it just looks tacky). As for cargo room, it does fit a lot of stuff. The only problem is if you have stuff PLUS more than one passenger, in order to fit large items in the trunk, you must lay down the entire back seat rather than half of it. I have been unable to take passengers skiing or surfin... (more)

The Honda Accord is a great vehicle to own. I am so proud to own that vehicle brand new 2016 until the present. It is technologically advanced, which was the second reason why I chose that vehicle. The 1st reason was it's supper reliable. I have been taking care of my black stallion since the day I bought it. It is a vehicle that everyone should have. It has CarPlay, goes above 160 and it's efficient with gas. Gas will last me about a week and half on that vehicle.
Story
Most memorable had to be my honeymoon on a water buffalo. It was in December. We put our bikes on our trailer and drove from Indiana to Florida. Then we parked the wagon and took off on the 750 with camping gear. We made it all the way to Key West and had a great time.
Pros
The AccordÕs typically fluid ride-and-handling balance is in full effect here, as is reasonably communicative electric power steering, which combats the sportÕs nose-heavy 59/41-percent weight distribution with light but never limp steering action. Acceleration is seamless if not exactly quick, with the zero-to-60-mph dash consuming a full 7.0 seconds and the quarter-mile run requiring 15.5 seconds with the sport clearing the traps at 92 mph. While those results easily top the 7.6- and 15.9-second times we extracted from a 2016 Accord EX with a CVT automatic, we should note that better num... (more)
Cons
The Honda service department told me that the rear brakes are bad and need to be replaced as soon as possible. They said I would have to pay out of pocket for that expense. I said to the service department, "How is that my responsibility since your company just sold me the car?" They told there was nothing they could do for me. I thought when you purchase a car that should be checked and fixed before selling.

The company is family owned and family members are present on site. Mel Rapton Honda does not pressure you, ever. When getting the car serviced they have excellent shuttle transport to the local mall, or to the college campus nearby. Mel Rapton works with you to get the best price and make sure you can afford it. The dealership is clean, nice and large; it never feels crowded.
