Honda Accord Owner Ratings & Reviews

2009 Honda Accord - What can I say, she was my first love, the first car I ever owned, and we had some good times together.
I've had my car to the dealer a few times for rattles. Some were fixed, some were not. The wind noise at highway speeds isn't loud enough to make conversation difficult, but it is too loud for a car that costs this much. I do like the ergonomics for most of the controls. Except, the auxiliary port is inside the center console, under a removable tray, and behind a spring loaded cover. You cannot plug in your MP3 player to this port safely while driving, as you can't clearly see what you're doing, and you need two hands due to the spring loaded cover--poor location. The technology items (Bluetooth, navigation, voice recognition) all work well, with no major glitches. No Homelink available except in the V6 package, which is pretty ridiculous. The car rides decent but can be a little ... (more)
Pros
The usual specs. Automatic. Four cylinder. Aluminum-alloy engine. Over 160 horse power. Mean-looking body. Nice trunk space. Interior was good enough. Adjustable front seat belt anchors. Brake assist. Emergency trunk release. Performance was good.
Cons
Interior layout of console is not practical. Rattling noise in right front panel and near back speakers on bumpy roads. Rear brakes wear out far too early. Front seats are incredibly uncomfortable. Head rest/restraint is angled too far forwards and can cause neck pain if you're taller than 5'2". Rear deck rattles due to utilizing cheap plastic to connect the deck to the metal frame with no buffering.
2005 Honda Accord - My amazing Honda Accord LX 2005 review
I love the color of my car because I feel white goes well with the red tail lights. The build of the car feels sturdy, and I feel safe when I am in the car. I don't love driving in general, but I feel like the Honda brand is a good choice because if anything were to break, I can easily find parts since so many people drive the model. I've had it since 2005, and I plan to use it for a long time until I really have to pay for another vehicle. So my experience with the longevity of the vehicle is quite good. I am a cartoonist and I think the look of the car isn't anything fancy or stands out. It's kind of generic looking, but I seem to like that about cars because again, since I don't like to drive that much, I prefer to blend in rather than stand out. I would stand out when it comes to c... (more)
Story
One time I was appointed an interview all the way in San Francisco. I drove halfway there and while in central California, I just turned around and went home. It was a long trip and I considered it sightseeing and that company is probably upset with me and will never contact me ever again.
Pros
The pros to me are the color selection being white. I feel like it blends in and doesn't stand out too much. White is surprisingly less dirty looking than a black car when it becomes dusty. So sometimes I can even get away with not washing it and it'll look great. I love that. I feel safe in it, and it pretty much just does everything I need it to do. I'm a simple guy and travel mostly short distances nowadays because I'm done with school, and it really does a good job. My favorite pro about this car is that if anything ever breaks, I never feel like replacement parts are too hard to find.
Cons
As a fat person, sometimes I feel like it could be roomier. It causes me to fantasize about having a nice SUV or something but it's really not that important. That's just a nitpick really. I would say one con even though I feel completely safe in my car is that when I compare the feeling of a Japanese car to an American made car, I do feel like the American cars are much more powerful and safer. As in they have nice hard shells/frames to protect you in case of an accident. That makes me a bit jealous but I don't drive much so it doesn't matter.

2010 Honda Accord Hybrid - Moss Bros Honda Moreno Valley
I enjoyed the customer service. If my car needed an oil change or any other inspection, they were quick, friendly, and remembered me from previous visits. Also, they made sure to get the car I was looking for.
But after reading some new reviews, I wonder if their service has gone down since my last visit. However, I do appreciate seeing a representative respond in a positive way to these reviews.
2005 Honda Odyssey - Car City Ontario
Small, family owned lot. Our salesman, Manuel, gave good deals and even remedied any problems we had with our vehicle for the first year after purchase. My husband lost his job a few months after we bought our most recent car and Manuel worked with us until my husband found employment again. Over the last 9 years, since we bought our first vehicle here, we have bought 3 more vehicles from this dealer, our children have bought 2, our neighbor has bought 3, and our niece has purchased a vehicle from this dealer as well.
