My 03 Civic is a black (exterior and interior) EX coupe with a five speed manual transmission. It has a sunroof and a single disc CD player/AM-FM radio. The gas mileage seems to run around 33 mpg on average with a pretty even split between highway and city. I bought the car new, have had it for almost fifteen years, and would buy one like it again in a heart beat.
Story
I remember driving the car, slipping and sliding, up and then down a muddy rutted hill to pick up my stepson and his cousin from boy scout camp. I think they thought I was crazy for taking that little car up there where everybody else had trucks.
Pros
The reliability has to be the biggest pro. Aside from oil changes, new tires, and other regular maintenance, the only thing it has been to the mechanic for was to get the Takata air bags replaced as part of a recall. The gas mileage has been really good and is also a pro. Surprisingly, it has also been pretty flexible as far as use goes. I have hauled sheets of cement board in it with the back seats down, drove it up a muddy, rutted hill to pick up some kids from scout camp, and drove it to the outer banks and Hilton head from WV. Oh and I have had the car for almost fifteen years and it i... (more)
Cons
There have been a few cons. The CD player/radio went out and replacing it was a little difficult. Coupes in general are not great for hauling the family around and that is true of this car. The black interior has faded from the sun and taken on an almost pink color. I like the manual transmission but my wife does not. The seats can get a little uncomfortable on long trips. And, although I initially like the sun roof, now I worry about it leaking.

I love this car. It has been very dependable and trustworthy. When I have needed to take it in for repairs it has been affordable and easy to get fixed. The size is right for me, kind of small. Very fuel efficient, I drive around 100 miles a day and only need to fill up about every three days. A fill up costs around $23 currently, which is awesome. It handles well, is front wheel drive and does a good job when it snows. I like the way it looks, clean lines and sort of sporty. I rear ended a lady in it once, and it barely showed a scuff. The price was right, I felt that I was getting a solid, dependable car for a very fair monthly payment. The only thing I don't absolutely love about it is the color of the fabric on the interior, which isn't a real fault of the car. I see a lot of these... (more)
Story
I was driving to work in the middle of a winter storm. I passed a large, fancy pickup truck that had slid off the road and realized it was my neighbor. I stopped and gave him a ride back home, and he was really impressed that my little car made it where his big truck wouldn't.
Pros
Fuel efficiency/gas mileage, general appearance of the exterior, factory stereo system
Cons
The tires that came on it didn't last very long, and I wasn't crazy about the color of the interior fabric

Everyone was very nice and upfront about the process. I got my car fixed here a few months back. They drove us to our hotel room after dropped off the car (we were passing through when my car died) and kept in good phone contact with us while the car was being repaired. They picked us up the next day and the process was quick and easy. I felt unpressured and unrushed throughout the entire process.
