I have a 2009 Honda Civic LX-S. This car was the last car I ever considered buying just because a lot of people drive it. But I gave it a test drive after test driving all the top vehicles I wanted, and as soon as I sat in the drivers seat, I fell in love. The price I paid was also a good deal. I paid under $17,000.

Overall I like my 08 Honda Civic DX a lot. It's not an expensive car but it does its job, it has never broken down in the middle of the road or needed any expensive repairs in the 10 years that I've owned it. I've put over 190,000 miles on the car and it's still going strong. The interior is on the average side but it has all the things you need such a middle compartment, sun visors, glove compartment, etc. One thing that is bad about the interior is that I've had to replaced the visor 3x, in the 10 years I've owned it. It would just fall off and I read somewhere that it may be due to a defect in the type of visor it has. Exterior-wise, the car seems very plastic and not so durable. For instance, my front bumper can come off easily and I would have to nudge it back in. The body of the car scratches easily and dents easily compared to previous cars I owned. Also the car is very low to the ground, so make sure to slow down when you hit dips and bumps, I've had to replaced the bottom plastic protector once because I've ran over so many dips without slowing down. Also, another bad thing about the car is that the brake pads go out fast, I've had to replace them once every 6 months to a year (using the official brake pads from Honda). I've read on a Honda forum that this is also a defect. Now I know that I mentioned a lot of things wrong with the car but that's all the problems I really had over the 10 years I've owned the car, meaning that it's a great car! I would definitely take into consideration in buying this car model again.
