Reliable Honda Civic
I have owned Honda Civic since 2007. Even after putting more than 110000 miles on the car, it still goes on without any problems. In terms of the performance of the engine, it is a very reliable car. I haven't had any engine related issues so far. With respect to parts that are normally subject to wear and tear, I should say that Honda has used very good parts. Other than changing my tires once after 65000 miles and battery once, I had only changed relay for my air conditioner (less than $150). It was pretty much regular oil change and routine maintenance on the car. At this rate, I expect the car to perform well for another 50 - 60000 miles. The car is also built very strong. Even though I had two rear end collisions on my car, there is still no rattling while driving. I am also pleasantly surprised to know that the steering assembly has not given me any trouble. The other two non-Honda cars/minivans I had owned before started failing in this aspect after around 75000 miles. Not this Honda Civic. The car also has features like ability to lift the separation between trunk and the seats making it possible to fit in even lumber over 8 ft.

You cannot go wrong with a Honda!
I bought my Honda Civic brand new in 2005. I researched many different vehicles and I wanted a durable car with excellent trade-in value. My car is now 10 years old and has 84,000 miles on it but I still love it. The paint has bleached a little from the sun and I have had to replace a few belts and tires over the years but overall it's been a great little car. It gets wonderful gas mileage and that was important to me when I bought it because at the time I was throwing a paper route that was 40 miles long 6 nights a week. I put a ton of wear and tear on it just doing those paper routes for the years that I did but it hung in there with me. Now that I own it free and clear and have done so for several years now I do not see a reason to get a new car. Change your oil when you should and your Honda will last forever.
