The vehicle is a good family small SUV. It's decent and gets the job done, commuting to soccer practice and the like. And just like that, it's also somewhat bland and unassuming. You'll have no problems with it (for the first several years), but there's also a lot to be desired. It's just basically your plain old reliable small family vehicle. The quality is pretty basic, but it holds up well. You're getting what you pay for with the CR-V, not in a bad way.
Story
My CR-V has made it back and forth from college to home many times and has stored tons of stuff along the way! I wouldn't really trust another vehicle for both qualities.
Pros
Honda is very reliable as a whole. You know you'll be safe in this car. The battery and motor run well. The rear legroom is pretty good. Overall, no complaints for the first several years. Pretty good gas mileage too in the beginning. Very easy to fix whenever something does need repair.
Cons
After 7 years, everything breaks down at once! The gas mileage REALLY starts to go down at this point. Motor, battery, everything really starts to go around the 7 year mark / 120,000 miles driven. Also, the car is just quite bland and boring, overall, but this may be perfectly fine for most people.

I love my Honda CRV, but I find it has very sensitive sensors. I have had the check tire light go on numerous times and the tire was only down a pound. In that case I need to take out the manual and calibrate the system. I find it is pretty good on gas, but it could be a little bit better. Even though I have an energy saver button I still feel my smaller four door sedan was better on gas.
Story
When I first got it I enjoyed taking people for rides in it. They were quite impressed by the bluetooth phone system that the car has.
Pros
I love that my Honda came with Bluetooth. I have a hands free way to talk on the phone, which is a very important feature to me. I also love that the stereo system has great sound. It is a very comfortable car. The seats are very soft and conform to my body to make for a comfortable seat even for a long drive.
Cons
My biggest problem with the car is the sensitive sensors. I spend a bit of time worrying whether my tires are safe to drive on when the low tire warning comes on a bit too frequently for my liking. When it does, the tire may only be down a pound. I also think it could be a little bit better on gas.
