My Civic broke down, and it was time to get something new -- with two dogs and one kid and one more on the way, we actively searched out non-minivan options, but we finally realized that the minivan was our next step. I don't even know how I had kids before this minivan -- sliding doors are life changing. Sliding doors and a trunk that open/close with a remote are even better. You can actually stand in the middle row to buckle and unbuckle if it's raining outside. Tons of space if you fold down the third row, but still a surprising amount of storage with all the third row seating up and functioning. The leather seats are super easy to clean, which is a must with kids and dogs. The middle row seats are really easy to take out, which is helpful when cleaning or making a run to IKEA. Cup holders everywhere! And the back has its own separate temperature controls. Which can also be locked from the main dash if your kids are being buttheads. The mileage is pretty good - I think I average about 17-18 mpg with mostly city driving. If we are taking a long road trip, I can get up to 24 or 25mpg. I love the back up camera and automatically connecting Bluetooth since I mainly listen to Pandora in the car. It also has a small hard drive built in to store your favorite CDs, which is pretty neat. Tire pressure warnings are super helpful, as are reminders about getting the oil changed.

I have owned the Honda Odyssey Minivan for over 7 years. Previous to the Honda Odyssey, I was a Ford buyer. I had many issues with Ford vehicles that I do not have with Honda. We are now at 110,000 miles on the minivan and it still runs beautifully.
