Honda Odyssey La Puente, CA OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Folsom, California
Perfect comfortable family vehicle.
We recently bought a 2016 Odyssey from CarMax with around 7k miles. My mom has leased the Odyssey for years (she currently has the 2017), so I've spent a lot of time driving it. There's nothing better than a minivan for a road trip. Tons of room, great comfort, and you aren't piled on top of each other and driving each other crazy! Because our son is going to be a teenager soon, I wanted plenty of room for him and any friends/family/Labrador retrievers that might be riding back there. The reliability of Honda was also a big factor in our decision.

Great value
I purchased a used Honda Odyssey three years ago and have only had to change the oil and tires in the past three years. It always starts without issue, from 100+ degree days in the California desert to snowing mornings visiting family in Idaho. We have driven from California to Idaho and back in less than a week with no mechanical difficulties. The seats are comfortable. The seating can configure so we can load a full Christmas tree in the back by laying all the seats down or put three car seats next to each other for visiting family. The separate temperature controls keep the women warm and the kids cool in the back. It is a great vehicle for a great price.

Over the years since buying my car from this dealership I have never had a real issue. Whenever I need my car serviced for anything such as an oil change, it's always easy and fast. I have no problems with their service and I don't ever have to wait very long when I do get service. The process of my buying my vehicle was fairly easy as well, I was never pressured and was told the truth the whole time. I was able to test drive and ask as many questions as I wanted without the pressure of buy the vehicle.

Seems like salesmen at most dealerships read the same training manual. It must work, revenue-wise. But from the customer's point of view, it can be frustrating. During my experience, there was a lot of , "Let me run this by my manager. " Then long waits while the salesman and manager confer. This Kabuki dance goes on indeterminably, until the customer is either worn down or finagled into buying a different car. With persistence, sometimes you can actually get a good deal.
