I love my 2012 Hyundai Accent. It gets anywhere from 32 to 41 miles per gallon, which is one of the reasons that I purchased it. I wanted a car that didn't have any perks, just a basic model. And with that basic model, I have enjoyed it fully! The radio works great, and there is room for an auxiliary cord and USB port. Also, it has a CD player. So the basic model included those things, which was pretty impressive. I went through the Hyundai dealership, and there was an issue with the way they tested for the fuel efficiency. Although the fuel efficiency has met or exceeded standards, I get a prepaid credit card for miles driven because of this issue. I love the dealership as well, because they give me oil changes and maintenance, and they are always very nice. The car is comfortable, an... (more)
Story
I love driving my car. It's always fun, and it looks good.
Pros
I love the radio and speakers, with a auxiliary port, CD player, USB port, and charger all in one place. I love the six speed stick shift. The tires are a size that is really affordable, so when I have to replace the tires, it's decent and doesn't put me back much. The lights are all awesome, with two different lights in the car, and the headlights and brake lights are great. I LOVE THE FUEL EFFICIENCY. Even when gas was $4 a gallon, I wasn't going broke, because the car constantly gets 32 to 41 miles per gallon. The trunk is super spacious for such a small car. The lights in the trunk are... (more)
Cons
Ok, the bad things about the car. I hate to say it, but there are a few things that I would change. If you have the car filled up with people, it takes a while to speed up. That is totally because it's a four cylinder, manual transmission, and you can't just turn out with oncoming traffic if you have some larger friends in the car. I got the gray seats, which are a light gray, and if you spill water on them, it leaves a terrible stain. Coming back from swimming, when I have still been damp, has left stains on the driver's seat that make it look like I have crazy back sweat. So that's total... (more)

I bought the car for two reasons: The claimed MPG and the price. I live more than forty miles from work, and I needed a car with better gas mileage than my Jeep Wrangler. I knew I would be driving the car almost exclusively for work, so gas mileage was a big selling point. I also did not want to break the bank, so this car seemed like a good fit. Outside of the gas mileage, the car is pretty nice. The interior is simple but clean, has the features I need without feeling like a cheap car.
Story
One memory in this car was teaching my oldest son how to drive in it. Being that it's a smaller car, it is easier to park and maneuver. He did well in this car. Driving our SUV would have been a challenge, but this car he did well.
Pros
My favorite feature of the car is the USB port, which allows me to put my music or audiobooks into a thumb drive and then listen to them over the car's stereo system.
Cons
The car has never approached the MPG claimed by the manufacturer. According to the sticker, I should get about 40 MPG highway and 31 city. I do mostly highway driving (about 85 miles a day), and I have never gotten over 33 MPG, ever. The gas mileage has been an issue for many owners, and Hyundai lost a class-action lawsuit for bloating the MPG numbers. Another thing that bothers me about the car is that the windshield frame is sloped too close to my head. I don't have the seat too close to the windshield, but if I lean forwards even a little, I hit my head on the sun visor. The worst about... (more)

My parents had purchased a car from them a few years ago. Their salesperson was still working there, pretty uncommon, and he was really helpful. He even remembered my parents. The MSRP was almost $25K but he got me a couple rebates and a loyalty discount (I traded in a 2008 model) and my financing package included an extended warranty, free oil changes, and tire rotations as well as a really good interest rate. Truly a customer service-oriented business.

This dealership is great because they have sold me my last 5 cars without an issue with any of my cars. They have sold cars to several of my friends and relatives. The people that I have referred to Crown have all had positive experiences with the exception of 1 person. That persons car froze up and had to be junked unfortunately. Aside for that, they have been great.
