A reliable car.
First, the quality of this car is unbelievable. Considering its age (16-17 years old), you wouldn't know. People are always shocked when I tell them! The upholstery, dashboard, gas economy...all are like that of a new car. Speaking of, the gas efficiency is great. I drive a considerable amount, and I only have to fill up monthly. There's tons of trunk room. I can fit 3 oversized suitcases and still have room for other items. The seats are extremely comfortable, and there's lots of leg room (I am above average height). I regularly make a 1600-mile round trip and I'm always comfortable doing so. I think the most surprising thing about this car is just how much storage there is as a whole. I'm a big DIY fan, and this little car can fit several 2x8s inside. The backseat has lots of room for car seats. Still, nothing is perfect. I live in the Mid-Atlantic, so generally we get a few snowstorms a year. The car handles in the snow very poorly. Despite having good all-season tires, I can't even drive in an inch of snow. Rain and slush are fine--fresh snow just doesn't work. I've had two cracked radiators in the four years I've owned this car, which is almost unbelievably likely. It might be an issue with this model. But it still wouldn't stop me from heartily recommending this car to anyone.

Overall, my Elantra is a really good car, but that is the most I can say about it. It has been extremely reliable, but it is not exciting or fun to drive. The car just gets me from point A to point B reliably.

They're very straightforward. They never try to "pull one over me" by changing the price at the last minute. What you see is what you get. Shortly after buying, the power steering fluid lines on my car leaked, and even though that isn't technically covered by their 90-day powertrain warranty, they replaced the lines free of charge. They're very willing to make things right to stay in good standing with their customers. The price of the car was considerably higher than its regular worth, but this was also post-Hurricane Sandy, when the cost of used cars in the tri-state area skyrocketed.

The salesman Kyle and his assistant Rich that I dealt with. They were very friendly and helpful. It was a tough (but financially necessary) transition trading in my Honda for a new car, and they were very nice and understanding about it. They worked with me for days and by the time all was said and done, I felt like we were old friends. I'd definitely buy from them again.
