2016 Hyundai Elantra GT - Great affordable, reliable car
The 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback is a great car for both daily commute and long distance travel. The vehicle is not too big and not too small. It is spacious and versatile in use. I purchased the vehicle in the galactic gray color, which has a very attractive light purple sheen. The car had decent mileage, and it still runs like new without any problems. The car also has many up to date, modern features such as Bluetooth phone capability (which I love), AUX ports, CD player, and Sirius XM.
Story
As a new college graduate and an adult with a full-time job, buying my first vehicle was a huge milestone in my life. This car means a lot to me and definitely a huge investment where I hope to drive and use for quite some time.
Pros
Although it is a hatchback, the car has a spacious trunk where the back seats can be folded down when needed to store bigger items. Living in the Midwest, by far the most attractive feature is the heated seats which comes in handy during freezing weather. The car manages well when driving in snow and icy conditions, which is a huge plus. The car has great gas mileage. I have driven this car to and from work. The car is very comfortable to drive and has not lacked in performance during long distance trips as well.
Cons
The only disappointment is the lack in an auto headlight function, so manually turning on and off headlights/driving lights takes some personal reminding. Also, the trip computer function is kind of pointless. A more functional feature could be the ability to view readings for tire pressure, coolant levels, and oil percentage instead.
2008 Hyundai Elantra GT -
Elantra is good in design and looks like a pretty high-end car even if it's a 2008 model. Interior is good, and you will have much comfort in the car. Fuel consumption is little to worry about but not that bad. This car drives very smoothly, and I really like to drive it.
Story
I bought my newly born kid home from hospital in this car, and that is a memory with this car.
Pros
Driving comfort and very smooth. Very good design and interior. Less maintenance required, which is a big plus.
Cons
It is very spacious inside the car. More fuel consumption.
