Hyundai Elantra Owner Ratings & Reviews

2015 Hyundai Elantra - Feels like a luxury car without the luxury car price.
I love Hyundai's, having owned two others in the past, but this vehicle is really something special when it comes to quality and feel of luxury in an economically-priced car. I love the push-button start, as well as the touch screen navigation, Sirius radio, and overall technology on board. The heated seats, in front and back, are a plus, as well as the sunroof and large truck. The car is set low, sporty, yet sleek enough to not stand out. It's all around a great car and I really enjoy driving it.
Story
The car is not built naturally to have a huge get-up-and-go, as it's not a luxury vehicle, but it really does move well and handles curves like a champ. I live in an area dotted with mountains, including a few roads with switchbacks and hairpin turns. I recently had my sister in town for a visit, and I took her up one mountain in particular to see the view, using a very winding road. She was a... (more)
Pros
It's the little things that make this car special such as the push-button start, individual and dual temperature controls, the sleekness and look of the vehicle, the capacity of the trunk, the heated seats, roominess of the back seats, and the sun roof are all great. I really like the seat navigation controls and the center console with touch screen makes the car seem very modern and forward-thinking. Even the headlights in Hyundai's make the cars appear to be grinning from a front view, which is always fun.
Cons
I honestly do not have anything at this time that is a large con of the vehicle, in terms of affecting how it runs or operates. I do wish the navigation voice could be made to be louder, on its highest setting it still is not heard over the noise of normal to slightly than higher volume levels of the music/radio. Also, the Bluetooth sometimes has trouble connecting to my phone for content streaming.
2008 Hyundai Elantra - Good vehicle that's seen better days
I like my Hyundai Elantra. I have had it for 8 years now, and I have not had any major problems with it yet. The car works great and looks good, and suits all of my needs. Now that the car is getting older, I am definitely starting to notice things beginning to wear down. But that is typical for any make and model after time. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to others.
Story
I remember racing home from work one day against a friend who had a nice sports car and almost beating him.
Pros
The lifetime warranty that came with this vehicle is probably my favorite feature. I get about 40mpg with my fuel economy which is awesome and I can fill up my tank with $30. I love how nice the factory stereo system is in this vehicle. I also love that it is small enough for me to maneuver easily, without compromising space inside.
Cons
I think my biggest problem with this vehicle were the tires. I have only replaced the tires once. But about a year after I bought this car, every summer or winter, my tires would constantly lose pressure and I would have to fill them up at a gas station. I also don't like how the trunk and back of the car looks short or cramped.
