I really like my Santa Fe, but there are a few drawbacks about it that make me feel somewhat negative towards it in a way. There is quite a blind spot on the side windows so more attention is needed when changing lanes on a busy highway, it also has bad MPG at slower speeds. Travelling around town at 35 mph yields a horrible 13-15 miles per gallon. ON the highway at 65-70 around 25-28 which is decent. For commuting quickly to work and back though as I said it does bad gas. On the plus side, the radio is very nice, and there are so many lights on the inside. Looks like a pretty Christmas tree, and easy to find everything in the dark while driving. It also has quite a nice V6 engine which makes this little guy pack quite a punch. Putting down the gas you can feel it has quite a bit of power behind it. One of the problems though is braking time needs to be increased, since this is a heavier vehicle than say, your regular car. Overall I like most things about this but the mpg makes it a pretty substantial negative around town sadly. On one last note, we moved a loveseat on here and it fit in with the back seats down. Nice space for a medium SUV.
